Stage 1 · Bootcamp

GANAS

Spanish for "drive and determination"

GANAS Bootcamp prepares participants to succeed in the workforce by aligning them with WorkTexas culture, expectations, and employer standards, while providing career exposure and guidance to help them choose and pursue the right path.

Stage 2 · Safety certification

OSHA 10

A 10-hour entry-level safety training designed to help students and workers recognize, avoid, and prevent common workplace hazards. Delivered by OSHA-authorized trainers.

Stage 3 · Core program

Training & career coaching

Hands-on trade training leading to nationally recognized certifications, combined with resume building, interview prep, job search support, and employer connections throughout your journey.

Stage 4 · Milestone

Graduation

Celebrate your trade certification, OSHA 10 card, and workforce readiness. Two ceremonies per year with students, families, instructors, and employer partners.

Stage 5 · Ongoing

Alumni programming

Career advancement, networking, mentorship, employer connections, and continued engagement with the WorkTexas community — long after training ends.

Building Tech I

Length of course: 144 hours

Learn the fundamentals of residential and commercial construction including framing, flooring, finishing, and site work. Prepares you for entry-level employment as a construction laborer, carpenter's helper, or building trades worker.
